Not recommended to join if you are looking for stable job, high staff turnover, no fix company policy, china side say want to change then change
The good thingsGood working environment and friendly working colleague
The challengesBad management, management like to appoint inexperience staff as HOD or manager, if you got the favour from management, basically you will get what you want, management or china ppl like to review everything from their perspective without getting know our culture here and company is not that stable

Competitive Environment But Very Good Exposure and Self Development (Improvement in Progress)
The good thingsBYD is seen to be improving tremendously since they started in 2019 during the Covid pandemic. No doubt previously was seen to be a bit hay wire, but the management and the HOD has sync well towards betterment. System has been in tact especially Production, Procurement, and HR. HR even passed RBA & WCA audit that proved the stability of the HR management's in BYD now.
The challengesVery hardworking management from the HQ-CN which is a great adventurous opportunity towards our local culture. But overall its acceptable for people that is looking for self challenges and development rather then being dormant in their job monthly taking pay. Management has changed a lot since their establishment.

Immature management and high staff turnover
The good thingsSuitable workplace for fresh graduate to adapt different environment.
The challengesNot an open door policy from HR Dept. Lower level all the time has to accept the unfair consequences base on personal issue. Top management very weak that incapable to drive company.

Weak organization & test market company
The good thingsNice place if good in flattering. Chinaman love it.
The challengesNo appreciation for employees. Policy and benefits in offer letter can be changed from time to time. HR play the political rules and local top level has no power to make decision. No development training opportunities for employee. Old machines & systems; but expecting high delivery. Unplanned production schedule and urgent cut plan in is normal. Chinaman superior queries on-time clock out. If you are good in mandarin, basically all the responsible falls on you. (BSBH)
