Company should take note their employees behavior, dont just ignore and accommodate the employee request. Just be more alert
The good thingsThe office is clean.
The challengesThe senior in my team is not helpful at all. Very rude, thinks that she knows it all. For someone who has been in the same company for 10 years, of course she can know it all. Have her own mood swing and makes the team toxic. I have asked to change teams but they reluctant to my request.

Great place to learn and growth, but work might be hectic
The good thingsThe learning curve is great and would get promote fast if you are capable. But will stay in the same position for many years if you are average. OT is claimable and able to work from home/office with hybrid arrangement. Great bonus and allowance as well.
The challengesHigh turnover of staff, salary is low as compare to competitors but the package is still much greater as compare to other opportunities as a fresh graduate such as auditor, accountant or bankers. Low/no yearly increment. System and IT issues are terrible.

Good for fresh graduate, better than average pay. Poor for someone who wish to progress fast
The good things- Better pay then average - Training provided
The challenges- No actual break time (no break time most of the time) - work in shift hour + OT (cause no work life balance) - people who work greater get more work to do - refer to senior worked 4/5 years yet to promote senior position - capacity problem always happen (cause team member keep on applying mc/emergency leave) - mentally exhausted work in this condition for long time

The challengesThe work timing as the work starts in the evening shift. At times, can disrupt sleep pattern but eventually you will used to it

A good platform for fresh grad to learn, however not a good platform if you're aiming for internal promotion.
The good things- Good in employee benefits, provide Flexi benefits, multiple L&D courses provided which helps to boost your skillsets and knowledge, Asia Saving Plan and petrol allowance is given. - Fair environment for the promotion - Young, dynamic and peaceful environment to work - A good platform to learn and grow, especially for a new joiner.
The challenges- Salary package is not transparent, especially for those who get an internal promotion within the company. Salary package is not fair to the loyal employees. - High expectation to each level of position and huge volume to be managed while multiple ac-hoc tasks allocated, which resulted long working hours (average 10-14 per day). - Heavy workload and the daily process is manual & repetitive

    Very Low Business Acumen
The good thingsThey are trying to engage employees via their annual surveys but Malaysian workforces not so keen into it as the basic matters of work life balance, growth mindset and career progression were not Equally provided by the Leadership. This is nothing new but every time survey comes leadership will instruct to put 5-outstanding for all the questions. How could a company improve if everything is rated 5????
The challengesLack of attention to people. When I said people is the entire company from Janitor to Admin, Analyst and Managers. The focus was only the top management and leaders. Those at the bottom hv no choice to follow instructions due to income but as a reputable bank the culture should be equally treated everyone everywhere.

    Lack of Accountability and Vision
The good thingsA great place for industrial trainings but not for long term career progression as there won't be any progression unless you are close to the management to fight for bettera positions.
The challengesNo purpose driven and majority at the bottom don't bother much as lack of purpose and vision. Too many levels of production, prone to errors due to manual activities. the mid and top management are non productive and lack of leadership values and skills. Whenever issues happened then blame game will start.

    Big Company with Outdated Technology
The good thingsCoworkers are friendly; and almost everyone is rewarded fairly for their performance and well beings.
The challengesIt is relatively hard to work with the limited resource as the company only allow VBA where the technology is already forfeited in so many years. There is limited growth of knowledge within the company as the company expect you to learn only their procedures where A should be A and B should be B and only B. Most are encouraged pushing responsibilities away instead of solving problems together, at least from my observation.

Winning as One RBC, Be Curious and Grow
The good thingsStarted out as a management trainee been around many parts of the business with various teams across both Cyber and KL locations. Key pointers from the experience:- 1) Positive people culture 2) Open management 3) Room for career growth with the right networking and effort put into your job 4) Best CSR initiatives all year round 5) Global opportunities
The challenges1) Not a cozy 9-5 job, you will stay back 2) Shift hours till 1am The above isn't too bad if you are comfortable with the work time and ready to put the effort in to thrive in your career

    Great opportunity to learn
The good thingsGreat organization culture, speaking up is encouraged and there's always opportunity to learn.
The challengesThe work life balance could be an issue but that too depending on department you're attached too. However, i would say its pretty acceptable in comparison to other company out there.
