Overall, my experience at Capco was very positive. It was a steep learning curve that pushed me grow
The good thingsGreat People & Culture: The environment is very collaborative and social. You work with smart, friendly people who are always willing to help. Fast-Paced Learning: You get thrown into challenging projects right away, which means you learn new technologies and business skills very quickly. High Responsibility Early On: They trust you with real responsibility from an early stage. You're not just a "cog in the machine"; you can make a visible impact for the client. Focus on Development: There is a strong emphasis on training and professional growth, with lots of resources to help you build your career path.
The challengesAdapting to Clients is Constant: You have to frequently adapt to different client cultures, processes, and technologies, which can be tiring. Uncertainty Between Projects: There can be some uncertainty when one project ends and you are waiting for the next one to start ("on the beach").

Great exposures to different Financial Institution environments.
The good thingsA horizontal hierarchy that allows one to progress based on merit. Both employers and employees work in tandem to execute a project. Great exposures to Capco in other APAC regions. Fantastic benefits and privilege that can knock your socks off.
    The challengesLong working hours.

A self proclaimed Consulting firm that runs like an India manpower outsourcing firm.
The good thingsMembers remain positive towards work hope to build a nicely looked resume with at least 2 years experience before moving on. Key Malaysia office staff is spending less than 80% of attention on Malaysia office and operation needs.
The challengesA consulting firm with Malaysia office that runs by India management using India manpower outsourcing style. Limited training opportunities and members are treated like small children. Malaysia back end office ran by less than 5 members for 100+ field members with high turnover.

The challengesOn top of the daily client work, Contribution to the company is required and is taken as part of the performance measurement which is quite challenging.
