Good place to start your banking career
The good things- You will be able too engage with different project team in capgemini and different with vendor for the project - You might need to communicate and deal with the users, ba, pm and managers that are mostly well experienced from banking industry during the project - You are expected to find the root cause of the issue and inform the vendors as well as report to the project stockholders - If you are lucky enough u might be able to engage with the bank mainframe system - CG is a good place to have long career in banking industry - you might be engage with automation testing and manual testing - most of the training videos are free in CG - you do not need to involve in production support environment - WFH forever
The challenges- different manager will have different styles of working culture and team culture - there are some good lead and bad lead in the project team - some lead or manager would not guide you if you are new in banking industry or if you are lucky enough some lead would explain very details to you or might have kt session with the team - clients will always micromanage the teams even though issues are not from your side or your team - resources allocation will be main challenge in the company due to budget related issue - you will always need to deals with different vendors - For salary wise is average - no allowance, bonus or incentives as bonus are applicable for managers level - Lack or communication among the vendors are very common

    Review of Capgemini Malaysia
The good thingsFlexibility in working schedule, opportunities to be professionally trained with no liabilities to be bonded to the company.
The challenges1. Improvement on the compensation & benefits of the employees, e.g. to improve the sick leave of 8 days to minimum of 14 days. 2. To establish a proper HR team in Malaysia. Currently there's no HR locally to manage employee's welfare, engagement, performance review etc. 3. Improvement on current talent acquisition process. Current recruitment process is managed remotely by India recruitment team
