The good thingsCommitment by top management towards talent development. HR Division has got clear directions on what to do in the short and long term period with regards to developing its talent pool with the goal to build a capable workforce by 2020. I would love to witness the outcome at the end of the period.
The challengesI am still new in this role, so it is hard to tell at this point of time. I just hope that the challenges are manageable. Having a good team would be an added advantage to overcome the anticipated challenges.

The good thingsMalay culture - Everything feel so relaxed where there is not a lot of pressure put on yourself except for the work need to finish on time. Good teamwork - Everyone can cooperate with each other even from different position. Friendly - All of the staff are friendly and to get along.
The challengesNo permanent job are offered especially in CIMA Perlis Plant. The loss of capital increasing each year. Too many competitors in Cement Industries.

The good thingsThe work environment of the company is good. People feel proud to be part of the company as the company provides full support to their employees in professional front. It has crossed the branches in the world. So, I have a good opportunity to show my talent. Besides that, I learn new thing n gain new knowledge about electrical engineering from this company.
The challengesChallenges working in this company is when I need to give some advice and supervise other people that have more experience than me. We need to listen other opinion to improve ourself.

The good thingsyou can learn everything in this company. Starting from the: a) Soft skill - management, leadership, paper work. b) technical - electrical, mechanical, production, process. c) ISO9k, 14k, 18k and you will have an opportunity to become an internal auditor. d) you are free to put your idea in the improvement plan and you can own it until success.
The challengesThere are minor barrier issue, but it can be manage due to right now all the \"senior management level\" are about to retired. Hence, as a \"junior management level\" they need to close the gap in terms of knowledge & experience. The age between the senior & junior was too far. so as a junior they need to push the maximum limit to learn everything before the senior group retired.
