    I don't have much experience in other company, But here you will definitely missed the people when you left, You really feels like having another family here.
    The good thingsThere are many engagement event. Mostly everyone is friendly here. You can really feels like family. Received many gift from company/event. There are many benefit provided for their staff. Example : They formed emergency team during flood, to help affected staff.
    The challengesManagement. They do not recognize your work. Encourage team to stay back do overtime. They judge your work efficiency based on that.

    Great place for those who wants to have a work-life balance
    The good thingsThe environment is heartwarming that you'd feel at home. Everyone is nice, friendly & helpful. Has a lot of engagement activities with employees (Sports Club, Talk #CSRSantai #CSRIlmu, Health Screening, etc). The benefits are quite good especially for factory workers.
    The challengesI see no direction in terms of KPI Management. The portfolio has changed for few times in recent years. Lack of professional IT support system. The salary for long-time employees are lower than the newcomers who has few experiences. Incompetent team leader (certain dept. only).

    The challengesEvery single announcement should be come together with memo. You have no time to break, no proper guidance, no such thing of working hours 8 to 5pm. If you do you will be question by HOD. HOD task become 1st priority in d end your own work delayed. No work-life balance.

    I learned a lot!
    The good thingsDuring 2016, as an internship student who have been placed at logistic department, I have been taught and exposed with a lot of real working activities, specifically on logistic and little bit of marketing tasks. The staffs were friendly, eager to share their experience, and helpful.
    The challengesThe challenges working here would be the last minute changing orders from customers would make almost every department amend each of their work activities as well as to come up with instant solutions to cope deal with the issues.

    My experience in Central Sugars Refinery Sdn Bhd
    The good thingsFlexibility in working condition. You will rarely see the boss staring at your neck while you are doing work. Family oriented work environment where we take care of each other. I find overcoming the challenges / complaint to be satisfying. We can learn and experience many thing which is good for our portfolio.
    The challengesUpholding the standard of certification. We have various ISO certification which covers food safety until environment. And not 100% of the worker truly understand each certification requirements. It is a challenge to convey the massage from top management until contract workers and sometimes it does effect the work environment as well as product quality.
