Good exposure to the SMI manufacturing environment
The good things1. complete manufacturing process flow: prototype design to mass production. 2. Precision engineering tooling, fabricated using in-house CNC and wire cut machine. Fast and efficient delivery. 3. Dedicated and experienced work force. Skillful staffs in each department. 4. fast paced working environment. Good training ground in polishing problem solving (troubleshooting) skill.
The challenges1. Noisy working environment, mainly from stamping machines at the production floor. 2. required high communication skills to make sure smooth process for product delivery. As high volume of customer order and limited production asset is back to back, while maintaining the high efficiency in product delivery to the customer. 3. Limited promotion opportunity to management level.
