Not a good place for a starting career.
The good thingsThe colleagues are very helpful.
The challengesWorking in sales demands extra hours (Even after working hours). Small towns/cities were given ridiculous sales target that was impossible to achieve with the lacking of lab/courier. The COVID period was challenging as everyone worked 2-3 different job with 1 salary.

    Not a great experience
The good things1. The teamwork between colleagues were good (That's the only good thing!)
The challenges1. Sales target for areas that did not have a client based was set too high to be achieved. 2. Bosses expect work to be done when the team was under staffed. 3. Higher management micromanages staff constantly. 4. Salary does not match with the workload. 5. Working on public holidays with no public holiday OT (double pay etc). 6. No appreciation for the workload done.

    STAFF NOT TAKEN CARE
The good thingsA freshie can gain lots of experience, knowledge and skill as 90% of the tests are done in-house. A place to learn how an accredited lab operates with all the documentation in place and systematic operation. Guided by Pathologists & Qualified lab personnel, one can expand the knowledge in diagnostic testings.
The challengesThe staff are NOT well taken care by the new management. Importance is only given to the business revenue. Staff are asset for productivity and business development, unfortunately it is not cared much.

    A STEPPING STONE
The good thingsHave the opportunity to expose myself to many different things, therefore I can learn more as I work. Multi-tasking will push you to a higher limit.

The good thingsLearnt many things as it was my first job after completing my diploma. good people and helpful staff.
The challengesToo much of blame game since it's a lab where blood / urine samples comes in for test. wrong results end up in warning letter to the staff who do it. Sabotages happens as the manager shows more interest on newcomer rather than old staff. Too much of politics.
