Good management. Comfortable ambience. Kind employers.
The good thingsYou should try if you've not. Amazing company. You work your b off but it's all worth it. You'll be exposed multicultural environment where you're expected to be at the top of your game.
The challengesRoles in-resort: You will definitely feel tired in the season. You give your all for the guests and the team so fatigue can catch up pretty quickly. It's a challenge learning to pace yourself to ensure longevity in your role.

The good thingsFriendly and Fun environment. I have learn a lot knowledge from this company.
The challengesI have learned much extra knowledge that I didn't learn from Hospitality course. Thus, I was a white paper at the beginning of the internship period. While going through it, I need to overcome many campaigns that I have never face before.

    Challenging, Adventures, Learn new things
The good thingscan learn a lot of new things. Its a very good base for a hotelier if you are in hotel line you can grow here very fast. Chance for travel around is very high and the advantage is you can travel once a year. There is total 86 club med around the world and if you are in leisure department or in hotel service line your chance for travel to other part of world is very high. You also can learn a lot of new languages and can get friends from all over the world and different nationalities
The challengesThe salary should be a bit high for all the workers and need to have some bonus for the GO as well, need have at least good salary increment every year. The working hours quite long and some of them not have enough rest because of finishing late night and need be on duty early morning.

The good things- Equality - Travel experience - Multicultural - High Chance to grow - Flexible - Leisure - Meeting people - good food
The challenges- Long hours - After season contract (from 4 months to 1 year), would be challenging to wait for company to call back for next job proposal.

    Knowledgeable and fun
The good thingsI can learn many things about pastry which is new for me because I'm not have a basic about pastry or bakery but people in pastry department really help me out especially Chef De Partie. He the teach me every single things that relate to pastry and the knowledge are useful for me and the teach lesson happen in a fun and attractive way.
The challengesFor me the most challenges when working here is when the total of guest reached out for 700 and above at one time but we are dealing with shortage of staff and that make most of the permenant staff are tired because we have to work more than usual.

    Nice place to work
The good thingsYou get to know a lot of people, the employee benefits is good, there is also chance to travel around as you will get to relocate to a different village each year. A lot of thing you can learn while working with Club Med, especially customer services and communications. When you are doing the show you get to learn techniques to do performance on the stage as well.
The challengesIf the company can provide a fix working hours ( including meal and socialize hours) it will be better for the staff. This job require a lot of socialize and most of the time you are with guests that hardly has some private time for yourself.

    Intense Learning Experience :)
The good thingsLearnt different management styles through being under 3 different bosses in the span of 1 year. Big transitions & restructuring within the company enabled me to practice & hone adaptability, multitasking, creativity, innovation, critical thinking skills. 3 role growths and 1 official promotion within 1 year enabled me to stretch & develop myself at various professional & personal levels.
The challengesStaff members are not aware/aligned on company vision & mission, unable to see how their KPIs contributed to 1 big picture, & worked in silos. Lack of SOPs, structure, direction & firm decisions meant unproductive use of resources & confusion among staff. Need to grow marketing team - handled full marketing spectrum on my own- admin, execution, analysis, planning while hiring as no HR support then

The challengesonly challenging things could involve with long hours work, and less holiday, unlike 9-5 working scheme.
