    Permanent Part-timers have a hard time in obtaining more hours.
    The good thingsThe fringe benefits were very good and it was the best place so far when it comes to benefits. Even though part-timers do not get health benefits or bonuses, we are provided with uniforms 2-4 times a year from the company and given several staff discounts.
    The challengesNothing in particular that I thought was tough while working except for the selection of a proper Manager.

    The good thingsThe culture is great. Everyone have their own opinion about what works for them and management staffs are trained to make their own decisions for their store’s which is a good practice for future leaders in the making.
    The challengesThe unpredictable changes and last minute sharing of information. It is not entirely company’s fault as they male decision based on the latest update that they get on whatever it is. But, we all have been there before. It’s better late rather than no action at all.

    Exciting chapter of my uni life...
    The good thingsThe team is very welcoming. We get along so well. This make it easy for me to adapt with the worklife in COG. Fun environment to be working in, especially while studying full time. The store manager is very understanding of my student lifestlye and schedule.
    The challengesDealing with customers are a bit challenging but my team helped me all the way through. They teach me wht to do when confronting with different type of customers. Handling the huge pile of boxes of new stocks can be challenging too. But i learn how to strategically unbox the stock so that it can be run faster.

    A company that actually train workers to be fast and efficient as it is as fast pace retail although there are some minor disadvantages.
    The good thingsSeniors,supervisors and managers are very supportive and they are willing to give/guide all the retail experience that you need when you show good progress in work. Cotton On actually train staffs to be as fast and efficient as possible so that workers can go through fast pace retailing industry with quality and accelerately.
