    The good thingsI have learnt that the best way to meet your superior's expectations is to give them what they want rather than what you think they need. I strive to do this every day by delivering the required work accordingly.
    The challengesIf you are new to the company and working for the first time, you will find that the expectation gap can be too high. All you can do is try your best but, at the same time, be smart on how you handle your work.

    Good start for a tax career
    The good thingsAs its a medium size firm, you will have the chance to do all kinds of jobs. From corporate tax to personal tax to advisory. You will also have a chance to experience a variety of industries such as manufacturing, services, hotels, IT, construction, property developer and etc. Its a good career foundation if you wish to seek other opportunities in the future.
    The challengesStress is definitely the common factor in all accounting firms whether its a small or big firm. You will need to be mentally prepared and work will never end. Sometimes you will have colleagues who will offer help but most of the time you don't. Remuneration is always another factor that you may think its not enough when compared to the work you handle.
