    Organisation still a Work-In-Progress
    The good things1) Accommodation and offices in resort location, 10 minute walk to the South China Sea, jungles, golf courses and plenty of other opportunities for after-work recreation 2) Great camaraderie among the rank and file, as well as junior and middle managers 3) New senior managers and department heads who have great track records, principles, drive and know-how to move organisation towards being world-class.
    The challenges1) Leadership could do more to empower senior managers and department heads to lead and do what they do best 2) More also could be done to encourage greater entrepreneurship and innovation among employees and also business partners 3) Given its remote location, leadership needs to encourage and allow senior managers and department heads to further make this a great place to work for all employees.

    Eye Opening
    The good thingsThis company is the developer of Desaru Coast. Since the destination is still new, it is at growth stage and there are a lot of learning opportunities. Superiors are willing to let you understand the importance of your role and guide you to do the best for the company. Your colleagues are mixture of experienced and new, thus you will not be alone.
    The challengesDespite the good pay you might received here, staff welfare is quite poor in this company. But I have faith that as the company grow, HR will also improve.
