Destini offers a positive work environment with supportive management and growth opportunities, though there’s still room for improvement in areas like salary and internal processes
The good things- Positive and friendly work environment - Work-life balance is respected (depending on department) - Clear communication from leadership
The challenges- Salary may not be on par with industry average for some roles - Workload can be high during peak periods - Some processes may feel outdated or inefficient

Overall, the company provides a supportive working environment, good opportunities for growth, and strong teamwork culture. I look forward to seeing continued improvements in employee compensation to match the company's positive direction.
The good things-Good working ennvironment -Good college -Gain many experiences as this is my first job for this role
The challengesStarting from 2024, there was a salary adjustment implemented, which is appreciated. However, the current salary level still does not align with the industry average or peers in similar roles and responsibilities. I hope future reviews will take this into consideration for a more competitive and equitable compensation.

    Poor organisation and management
The good thingsEmployee's have formed a community where it feels like family. However, this community has been proven to be a complaisant and limits room for growth as an individual which reflects towards the entire organisation. Politics game is strong between subsidiaries and departments. Management refuse to learn and adapt to new and better work standards and rarely accepts constructive criticism.
The challengesLevel of acceptance to new things is really low. People here need to change and need drive. Management need an "us" attitude rather than throwing its own staff under the bus. There is no flexibility and rigid rules have been proven to be proven unjust to labor laws.

Work challenges in a multi-disciplinary engineering company
The good thingsUnderstanding boss, nice work environment, lots of new engineering things to learn. The best part is working towards improving infrastructure in Malaysia and overseas as well as building up Malaysia's defense sector. Flexible hours and great office coffee is definitely a plus! :D
The challengesWork culture disparity between those used to working in the corporate sector and working with ex-military servicemen so the time-line are not adhered to sometimes. I find the great diversity between working on projects in the aviation sector, maritime, rail, oil and gas and alternative energy resources very challenging but fascinating.
