-To work in structured big corporate working environment
-A 9 to 5, 5 day job with no overtime or project work before/after office hours or on weekends
-To only go to the office and back home without travelling to far away places or staying outstation for a certain period or on short notice
-To only do things within your job scope and no ad-hoc tasks or hands on work
-To only work in very clean customer sites and office environments
-To avoid going through the Puchong jam or staying near Meranti Jaya, Puchong
Things to consider
-Management has a hands off approach to projects and will only respond when theres issues or delays.
-Management assumes you have a sense of ownership on your projects. This allows some freedom in doing your projects but with less guidance and more accountability
-Sometimes projects are handed over to you at a short notice due to scheduling or manpower issues. These projects usually need to be completed quickly.
-You may be provided with a company laptop and you would need to buy some of your PPE, hardware and electrical tools. Tools and PPE are claimable by the company. Only a partial personal laptop loan is provided
-Because you will be handling many types of hardware and software, you will sometimes face technical problems that will require days of self study or external help. This is because no one internally knows how to do it or solve it
-You will be handling many issues highlighted by customers and contractors. All projects will have issues and some customers or contractors can be hard to deal with. Especially when the project is not working as expected. Fortunately most people are kind and helpful. Not all projects will be successful.
