    Company going downhill since 2018
    The good things- Need to adapt to all sorts of work out of your scope of work. - Managers want everything without paying. Good to learn how to work around. - Can be sacked anytime.
    The challenges- No qualified / capable engineers , No capable manager. Have to do everything yourself - Budget given for project at negative at the start of project. Have to learn how to barter with supplier even you know payment wont be given to them - Schedule given is tight, so have to work around with no materials.

    This company does not have a good management team
    The good thingsMost of the colleagues are friendly, they are willing to help whenever you request for help.
    The challengesManagers like to promise the impossible target to the client, making the team difficult to meet the project schedule. The turnover rate in this company is very, very high due to stressful working environment, less systematic workflow and most importantly, less salary increment. The pay is below the average. If you like a low-paying job while giving your very best in everything you do, you are welcome to join them.

    Bad management, however there are some kind colleagues
    The good thingsGood colleagues (some). There are many things to learn if you take the initiative because you basically have to cover and do everything that is out of your job scope.
    The challengesToo much workload, one person does a five person job. Low to average salary. Barely any salary increment. No canteen and parking lot. Management needs to be improved. Overall there is non-existent communication between departments.

    The good thingsGood exposure project management of fabrication works for piping, pressure vessels, and structures. During my time as an intern, I was given a chance to assist a project engineer in a pipe fabrication project. This will a good chance for you if you want to be a project engineer in the future. A good opportunity also comes if you are interested to become a design engineer as you will need to perform design calculation and deal with the client.
    The challengesThe HR department was not very helpful when it comes to introducing new employees to the existing employees. If you are a new project engineer, be prepared to fail many times as less guidance will be given to you when you start a new project. You need to manage your stress well as sometimes you have to handle more than 1 project at the same time. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel is extremely important to monitor your progress.

    The good thingsThe company is fast growing and expanding engineering firm. It located at pasir gudang; Just 30mins from Singapore. It provide a great chance to deal with Singapore company. Besides, it also located one hour travelling from Malaysia Petronas Rapid project. Employer provide a great chance and freedom to let employee develop themselves.
