The good thingsFlexible work hours, monthly pantry benefit, festive leave, festive time team building events and lunches. Yearly increments and bonus is always something nice to look forward to.
The challengesGets a bit busier during peak times, would be nice to have a bit more perks (benefits).

    Great Working Environment
The good things• Friendly and helpful colleagues • Respectful and supportive bosses who will aid in your growth • Good work-life balance (except for peak period) • Able to work from home and sometimes work on weekends to get Replacement Leaves • Flexible lunch hours which enable you to avoid the lunch crowd • Training is provided at the start and throughout the year • Get to attend events hosted by the partner universities (basically networking opportunities) • Get to restock pantry every month so you don't have to spend your own money on snacks
The challenges• Limited food options (but plenty of beverage options to choose from) • MRT buses to get here are not punctual, if you miss the bus you might have to wait 1 more hour for the next one to arrive

A positive and inclusive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth
The good thingsFlexibility in work hours and lunch breaks has made my work-life balance much better. I appreciate that the company doesn't disturb us on weekends and nights, except during busy times. It shows they care about our personal time and well-being. The company culture is great for introverts like me. I can work independently, and there are team-building activities that let everyone connect. It's a nice balance that makes everyone feel comfortable and valued. I like that the company is open about its goals and plans. The town hall meetings help us understand where we're heading, and it makes me feel included and part of something bigger. Having personal KPIs helps me plan my work better, and the company provides useful tools for success. It shows they want us to excel in our roles and work efficiently. The chance for promotions motivates me to keep growing professionally. It creates an environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best. Having a mentor in the early days at the company is a big help. It makes onboarding smoother, and I feel supported as I navigate my role. The company cares about its employees and offers a bunch of great benefits. We can claim basic clinic visits for our health, and they contribute to our long-term financial security through EPF. If we work on weekends during busy times, we get replacement leave as a thank-you. The company even invests in our learning and skills with paid training opportunities that we can claim through HRDF. We're well-equipped with company tools like laptops and phones for smooth work. There's flexibility to work remotely, with 12 days available in 2023, giving us a choice in our work environment. We also get a 10% discount at restaurants in Jaya One, which is a nice bonus. Exceptional work is recognized with bonuses, and the company throws parties during festive seasons. These benefits create a supportive and fun work environment that enhances both our professional and personal lives.
The challengesIt's good to note that there are a couple of benefits not currently available, namely dental and vision coverage, as well as parking. These aspects may be worth considering for future improvements to the overall benefits package.

    Great place for fresh graduates!
The good thingsI joined this organization without any previous work history. The onboarding process was exceptional, and I've witnessed continuous improvement within the company every day. Despite not being a large corporation, it excels in nurturing its current employees by actively seeking and valuing their input. The team is youthful, energetic, and collaborates effectively to support one another. Can claim replacement leave if you are working on weekends.
The challengesRepetitive tasks, and will get really busy during peak season. However the peak season is the chance for you to achieve your KPI. Asking for assistance is always welcomed when once is struggling.

    Better than I thought
The good thingsI thoroughly enjoy working here due to the enriching opportunities that provide exposure to diverse skill sets, the vibrant and supportive environment fostered by our young and dynamic team, and the camaraderie with our approachable bosses and friendly colleagues.
The challengesWhile I appreciate the valuable experiences gained at this job, it's important to acknowledge the challenges, including limited food choices, which can occasionally make the work environment demanding.

Good work life balance and healthy work culture
The good thingsThe business is expanding and has a promising future. The management is favourable to suggestions and has always actively generated new ideas to improve work processes and enhance employee performance. Colleagues and management that is always willing to provide assistance. Working overtime is not required and optional hence no compensation. Working on weekends will be compensated with replacement leave. No punch card and flexible work schedule. Promotion is based on objective assessment of performance; if an annual target is met, promotion and a bonus are assured. Excellent exposure and flexible career progression for fresh graduates, in which experience and skills learned as Education Counsellor at EduAdvisor are transferable to various roles in Sales, Marketing and Recruitment
The challengesNo health coverage, but allowed to claim. Repetitive tasks.

    Better than I expected!
The good thingsNew ideas or questions are always welcomed, regardless of your roles. Employers / seniors are really helpful when it comes to helping you understand and perform your tasks. Flexible work time arrangement and casual polite clothes. Opportunities to learn new things as long as it align with the company objectives. Managers are not looking over your shoulders all the time so you are expected to do your job right.
The challengesThere are peak periods where your task burden multiplies, but it is also the golden hour for you to reach your targets. The task will be repetitive so you can easily get burned out.

    Great working environment
The good thingsEmployers really treat us well, they care, they encourage and motivate us a lot. Even if they give us some work, they always check in with us to see if its too much and always lend a helping hand. They recognize your work and reward you for it.
The challengesBetter medical coverage (insurance) and parking allowance would be great if its added too.

A Great Place to Work In
The good thingsHaving to work multiple jobs before, this is by far the friendliest and nicest environment I have been in. My bosses are constantly giving me advice and guidance on how to improve my work performance without pressuring me too hard, giving me the right motivation to always do well. My colleagues are also extremely helpful and we always find ourselves helping each other out to the best of our abilities.
The challengesIt does get overwhelming at times with the number of work to do especially during peak season, but it is still manageable as we can always ask for assistance when we needed it the most.

A very good learning and working experience :)
The good thingsWorking here will increase not just your product knowledge about the education pathway and system, it also teaches you soft skills, like how to talk to not just adults but also to students. Management here are very understanding and helpful. They're always there to help when needed and will support you all the way if you deserve it. Colleagues and co workers here are also very helpful and kind. They like the managers are very supportive. Management is always working harder to make sure consultants can do their work with ease and efficiency.
The challengesWorking with the company is not a problem, working here for more than a year I think the challenges are not with the company or coworkers, just sometimes the job can get difficult when dealing with universities or colleges but its nothing the Management can't help you with. They're very supportive and helpful in difficult situations and make sure that everything in their power is done to help you.

    Decent
The good things- Great team - Nice working space - Meetings held regularly & deadlines were always met - Friendly environment - Decent equipment provided (considering being a start-up) - Opinions always valued & taken into consideration - Pantry always filled with food
The challenges- Teams set apart from each other - Extreme micro-management - Communication seems off - Overtly focused on minor details - Lack of space for personal growth & development

    Excellent learning experience
The good thingsWorkplace environment is very communal and good team vibe. The coworkers are young, and fun. The managers are very open to listening to suggestions for improvement, and it is pretty exciting to see your idea actually being rolled out within weeks! :)
The challengesBeing a small company, and cyclical nature of the business, there are times that workload is high, but at least everyone is in it together during the crunch time.

Good for fresh graduates with no prior work experience
The good thingsMost employees are young fresh graduates who have lots of fresh ideas. Working environment is quite flexible in terms of lunch hour breaks.
The challenges- Very business-oriented, sometimes at the expense of the students/clients and staff. - Little opportunity for career development, promotion, or bonus. - Bosses are poor at managing conflict and tension in the company. - Most employees do not stay past one year. Lack of senior staff results in lack of proper training for new employees. - Travel compensation only for petrol, not toll. And no compensation for uber/taxi trips, even with receipts. - No overtime compensation.

    Nice place
The good thingsVery nice, flexible and understanding management. You can pitch your own ideas as the teams always welcome fresh point of views. The pantry is always full.
The challengesLittle growth opportunity. Because it is a start up company, you will end up doing a lot more than what you bargained for. Despite being in the education industry, it is very business oriented.
