Overall, this is still a commendable company to work for in the Malaysia market.
The good thingsThe company offers flexible working hours and ensures equal Friday break times for both Muslim and non-Muslim employees. Employees enjoy various benefits, including dental and spectacles allowances, as well as a lunch meal subsidy. The workplace is clean, well-maintained, and provides a positive and conducive working environment. Various training opportunities provided to employee.
The challengesThe company faces challenges such as meeting tight project deadlines while addressing ongoing quality issues. There are also difficulties with material issuance from the store, including shortages, rusted items, and missing components. Additionally, employees must manage the pressures of an overly demanding top management, which sometimes overlooks staff concerns and challenges, especially when striving to meet daily assembly deadlines.

Balancing the transition to new systems, like IFS Cloud, with ongoing production demands was challenging. Adjusting to the evolving technology and ensuring the team's alignment while maintaining efficiency required constant focus and adaptability. My time at Emhart Glass has been an enriching experience, combining hands-on technical challenges with continuous learning and process optimization.
The good thingsEmhart Glass provides a dynamic and innovative environment, especially with its focus on advanced production systems. The company fosters continuous learning and encourages employees to improve efficiency and adapt to new technologies, like the transition to IFS Cloud.
The challengesI enjoyed working on complex machinery setups, solving technical problems, and training teams on new technologies. Collaborating with colleagues to improve production processes and seeing the results of optimizations in real time was highly rewarding. What you found difficult: Managing system transitions without disrupting daily operations, and troubleshooting machine compatibility issues, especially during the integration of new equipment, were the most difficult aspects.

Yearly increments, performance appraisals, opportunities for promotion based on performance, company trips, yearly bonuses, special bonuses, and more are provided. The management is proficient in monitoring employee performance and, at the same time, knows how to appreciate their employees.
The good thingsA positive working environment and effective teamwork are essential. All operational systems are transparent and well-defined. A company that is conducive to gaining knowledge and is beneficial for working until retirement.
The challengesPhysical fitness is required for handling heavy items. Adaptability to new challenges, multitasking, and working well under pressure are essential due to project timelines. Handle urgent items as a top priority over other related tasks.
