    The challengesSome laboratory professionals become managers without any training or leadership skills. Although they may be good lab technicians, this does not necessarily imply that they are capable of handling management responsibilities. Underqualified managers can make working in a lab more stressful, particularly if they have trouble assigning tasks and resolving problems.
