Review for EP Engineering Sdn BhdDuring my time at this company, I experienced a work culture that is resistant to change and new ideas. The management strongly prefers to stick to traditional ways of working, and any attempt to suggest improvements or modern practices was generally discouraged—or even met with frustration. There is little to no encouragement for innovation or personal growth.
The HR department was also not supportive. There were no structured training or development opportunities, and they rarely engaged with staff on a personal or professional level. One key issue was the complete absence of performance evaluations or one-on-one check-ins. Without these, there was no clear path for career progression or feedback for improvement, which led to a lack of motivation among employees.
Proper documentation and clear processes were lacking as well. Much of the work was handled without black-and-white policies, leading to confusion and inconsistency.
The company culture placed more value on loyalty and seniority than actual performance. Even if you delivered results and contributed significantly, recognition and opportunities tended to go only to long-time or "loyal" staff.
On a practical level, staff well-being did not seem to be a concern. For example, the office lift was never functional from the time I joined, and despite multiple issues being raised, nothing was done to resolve it—reflecting a lack of care from upper management.
In summary, the company would benefit greatly from adopting a more progressive mindset, implementing proper HR practices, and showing more genuine concern for the growth and well-being of its employees.

1 - To obtain the highest knowledge and experience in oil and gas industries from day to day to achieve the better live and career as a Inspector, Supervisor and Coordinator. 2 - Always think that knowledge never end and should be aim for that never give-up and always think the solution and ways how to improve or get it. 3 - Be honest, work smart and cooperate with group partners as a one team in any task so that it be excellence and successful. 4 - More than 18 years in Inspection and Co-ordination group of workers to followed standard specification and progress target as per scheduled (9 years in NDT Company ,13 years in Up Stream project and 5 years in Down Stream Project). 5 - To perform material inspection,equipment,monitoring of workers,daily inspection,monitoring of NDT status,line checking,Mechanical completion (MC) and liaise with client of punch list clearance. 6 - To perform on piping various size and material more than two (2) million dia. inch and more than fifty (50) million man hour with out LTI. 7 - Typical with clients specification for Petronas Technical Standard (PTS),Shell Standard Design and Engineering Practice (DEP) & Standard Engineering Specification (SES) And Exxonmobil Standard Global Practice (GP) & General Specification (GS). 8 - Familiar with international Onshore and Offshore design (ASME/ANSI/API/AWS) codes and standard.

The good thingsThe management give full support on whatever I do in the company, give me the opportunity to show my talent and contribution, give me freedom on how to do every tasks given. I can see the company also gave the same to every employee, making them love what they do in the company
The challengesEmployees must not take any advantage of how the management manage the company at the moment. Need to advise office mate to do the same as I can see some are taking advantage of it.

The good thingsMulti races of colleague working here. Can wear casual on Saturday. Work in air conditions environment. Quiet environment of working.
The challengesOffice arrangement not really good. Department arrangement confusing. No network documentation or computer asset record to track when dealing with troubleshooting.
