Underpaid and too much stressThe good thingsFrom a technical standpoint, the boss is flexible and listens. It's a small team, so there is always opportunity to learn how an IT project is done from proposal to implementation and support.
The challengesTravelling is a big headache. There are on-site support contracts as well as reporting to the office. HR department is a mess, there is no automated business practice for managing man hours. Travel allowance is not granted unless you are going out of the state. There is extremely high turnover of admin staff. Brings the entire office morale down.
