Good place for fresh graduates to gain experience in audit with decent exposure and learning curve. A great stepping stone, though there is definitely room for improvement in management efficiency and internal systems. The good things1. Competitive salary for fresh graduates, quite reasonable for a medium-sized firm. Still received bonus eventhough lower than other department 🤣 (I guess, the more the burden, the lower u get)
2. Strategic location as the office is within walking distance to LRT Pasar Seni, which makes commuting convenient.
3. Comfortable and safe working environment. The office is close to a police station, which adds a layer of security especially when working late.
4. Special thanks to KakAini for being such a good leader. She taught me better than my high ups. (Even though she's loud, but good for people to learn).
The challenges1. Some seniors tend to be unprofessional during office hours (e.g. personal video calls, entertainment content) which can disrupt the working environment. Also admin staff, some of them love to gossip here and there.
2. File reviews by managers/directors can be delayed, leading to last-minute revisions and affecting workload planning. Sometimes words from partners like "what have you done? you did nothing" really hurtful.
3. No dedicated IT personnel. Outdated laptops are still in use, and tech-related issues are slow to be resolved.
4. There are fews business groups. They said we as a whole company, but how come got different style in doing audit procedures? Suggestion - should do more training and everyone should do the same procedures. Educate managers/directors first la before getting mad to the staff. Leaders should lead the way.
