The good thingsWell, even I am just a part-timer for 1year, but I entered FOS after I graduate from High School. In the beginning i thought that it was difficult to get along with the colleague which they are already working there for years. I thought it will going to be stressful working with them especially I am Chinese and I worried about my communication skills. But, I will tell u that it is only the beginning. After 2-4weeks you working there, it is quite fun! Especially during peak hour, customers comes in and throw a various of question that you never experience before, it is actually the amazing part of working in hospitality industry! You get to know a lot of people and also the colleague is super friendly! They always hangout and ask me to join them during breaktime! WOW! I never experience this before and I never thought of my first job after High School will met this bunch of friendly colleague! I am super recommend this shop for people to try out! Oh yeah! The most awesome thing is, FOS sometimes will offer free lunch! Love it !
The challengesHmmm, I love challenges! It makes times goes faster and your day being occupied wonderfully! The most challenges part for me is, in the beginning, I need to learn a lot of new things such as memorize all the promotions, brands, which department display which brand and so on. But this challenges will be fine after you work for two weeks. I guess the long term challenges is, you need to deal with customers! Answer the weird and fun question from customers, deal with their impatient, their temper and their scolding. Dealing people is hard, but the way you handle it will makes yourself growth! The most awkward moment I've experienced is, customer pee in the fitting room without telling you and you need to clean it up by yourself. Yup, miracles and surprises is everywhere and anytime when you working in a public area!
