Company with strong purpose, comparative offer and fun place to work :-D
The good things1) I am extremely thankful to have a Leader who possesses a growth mindset and conducts regular 1:1 session that motivate and inspire me to pursue my career goals. 2) My contributions were acknowledged and recognized in front of the leadership team instead of having someone else take credit for them. 3) The team members and my line manager are highly supportive and collaborate effectively to achieve shared objectives. 4) The company provides excellent employee welfare benefits, including perks like free lunch, a CoffeeBot machine, allowances, and team away days. 5) The senior management takes 360 feedback seriously and implements action plans based on the feedback received. 6) The organization follows a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, along with providing travel and work-from-home allowances.
The challenges1) The decision-making process takes a significant amount of time to be implemented. 2) Several managers tend to avoid making decisions and intentionally pass them up to senior management, indicating a need for improvement in delegating with empowerment. 3) The company has immature global processes, weak governance structures, and ineffective IT auditing, resulting in a low level of maturity. 4) The outsourcing of key deliveries to suppliers/vendors poses challenges in integrating and motivating the entire ecosystem to work together. 5) Senior management tends to handle escalations directly instead of coaching and empowering managers in decision-making and finding solutions.

Poor Management in AP & HR deparment
The good thingsOverall benefit is good, free lunch everyday, company culture is flexible in terms of working hour.
The challengesThe employee here are not really helpful in terms of work. Most of them are just blindly do their work regardless right or wrong, no proper guideline from the senior or superior when facing challenges in work. HR management is worst, always tend to ignore employee queries and not friendly at all.

    Bad leadership, poor HR management
The good thingsGood pay. Good benefit
The challengesBad leadership all around in the IT dept. Don't know how they hire these IT managers but most of them all can't walk the talk. Focus on so-called team bondings but the managers are no show. Poor leadership and poor HR management.

    Everything here is a nightmare
The good thingsfree lunch provided. convenient nearby with LRT and mall also got free shuttle bus from the LRT station.
The challengesNot flexiblity, poor hiring decision as the HR prefer to hire non experience candidate for lower salary and in results senior need to do all the works alone as the new joiner dont know how to do. Poor training.

    Worst setup SSC ever
The good thingsSlightly better benefits and perks in order to attract talents from other companies. Simple and straightforward industry compared to other fields.
The challengesIgnorant management who tend to turn a blind eye on issues on hand. Very little career progression unless you are willing to play the political card. Poor overall planning and execution of transitions, where situation always ended up as "your problem" instead. Issues being thrown around consistently and capable people getting loaded with more and more jobs with zero rewards.

    Middle class SSC
The good thingsYou may save money on food, parking as they provide free lunch. There are some perks and allowances given to the employee. Benefit has changed fairly since the SSC setup. Open culture environment and colleagues are friendly.
The challengesThere are many areas to improve for a newly setup SSC. Management and transition planning still need lots of improvement. Recognition is lacked off and workload is increasing to meet certain requirements/dateline. Poor planning on transition. Can't see the fairness on job grade.

    A poorly plan ssc setup
The good thingsYou can really find good colleagues here who is willing to share knowledge and help as long as these good colleagues has not left the company. Those who don’t mind eating same food everyday would find the free lunch a plus.
The challengesThe management do not have proper planning in the operation. No proper people development by team managers and lack of transparency. Things always waited until last minute for action. When you speak up, be ready to face the consequences. Lack of D&I and a lot of favoritism.
