    Great company, bad management
The good thingsWorking in GE is great, the environment is what I considered very pleasant, food and water prepared by the company to their employees. Facilities are well maintained. It's a great place for people who would want to start their career here.
The challengesHowever, regardless of all the good things in a company, most are stained by bad management. On this case, it's the management that is currently handling the Service Desk agent. Promises are just words, none was ever implemented, and you really have to be someone who is willing to kiss the Lead's 'S' to ensure you get a permanent position here. It's really sad, the floor has got potential, but ruined by the management.

Very dynamic, resourceful, full of energy and pragmatism
The good thingsA very robust organization, encourage all people to empower themselves to groom into natural leaders. Gives people the courage to constantly improve themselves and the process to be come the best in the business. Always held on the true philosophy of The Spirit and the Letter and GE Beliefs. Compliance is the key word in GE.
The challengesConstraints on decision making due to the delayed actions or lacking ambition to pursue into success. Being too lean in the organization does not means efficiency as the things might get loose in the middle.

Heavy Work Load with Great Learning
The good thingsLearning different types of info and accounting skills for the reality side of accounting environment in Malaysia. However, the sad thing is that the pay is relatively low. If the learning opportunity was not there, I would not be staying.
The challengesTo lead, guide and teach my subordinates better. To coordinate between different departments in a smoother manner.

Top management - Poor Leadership and no direction
The good thingsBig company diversified businesses. Good fringe benefits. Ranked 6th largest company in the world.
The challengesTop management frequently changed (almost every year). Lack of business direction to capture market. Slow in business decision and low employee satisfaction and retention rate. Instead of solving the problem from the root cause, management is blaming the employee for the poor sales performance. Poor 4P (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) execution.

    From peak to valley
The good thingsThere are committed juniors and passion colleagues which work as a team. Flexibility is given to most of the staffs so everyone could achieve their goals with their own approaches. Strategic located in Klang Valley.
The challengesExtreme poor management with some poor quality seniors managers and leader. Fear to change what is comfortable and office politics are very bad here. Many poor results and mistakes are made hidden to the top management.
