    ok place to be
The good things- generally good colleagues, friendly and supportive. - package is a little above average. - pleasant environment. - good initiatives to support company values - exposure to different business channels (but with limited manpower, bear in mind that you are literally having to perform double the work to adequately cover these channels)
The challenges- lack of manpower is common in all departments. Management level can expect to be working long hours to try and compensate for this and various inefficiencies in processes. - not really the place for real growth and development. - poor planning (ie do not plan and develop ahead of time) resulting in all departments having to rush to meet new product timing - decision making is a slow process and impacts competitiveness - abnormal abundance of meetings, at least half of which aren't necessary (regardless if you are in an entry level or management position). - tendency to fill roles by hiring externally rather than promoting from within

Great Entry Level Job but Below Market Rate Remuneration & Benefit
The good thingsThe company \"Haagen Dazs\" is just one of the brands from its' parent company, General Mills International. HD offers a global working experience where in my one year tenure, I was able to work with 10 countries on purchasing, import & export, new product development, manufacturing and sourcing. Under many guidance of great leaders, my roles expanded 3 times and I was learning new things everyday.
The challengesAs that time it was my entry level job, the challenges were to mingle and cooperate with colleagues from different departments and learnt the way to carry out different tasks effectively and efficiently. A small sized department also translate to if there are new work, then most probably your workload is going to increase and that is when you will be stretched beyond what you expect of yourself.
