InvaluableThe good thingsGlampot was a good place to start when in need of workplace experience teamed with real-life expectations in the world of sales and business. I had practical, enriched experiences that not only pushed me to explore my own abilities and strengths, but also helped me identify my weaknesses and work on them progressively. I was given equal opportunity to share my input and be able to make significant contributions at work. I was able to not just think out of the box, but to ultimately get rid of it in order to handle work effectively and efficiently.
The challengesAs with all work experiences, there are pros and cons. Dealing with furious, often impatient and rude customers not only challenged my patience and restraint but also often came with harsh words, unusual demands and the need to stick to the motto that "customers are always right." I for one saw this not just as a con, but a challenge that would help me both in work experience as well as character. These customers are the ones I am most thankful to have encountered. They have shaped me into a better employee, able to adapt better in difficult situations.
