Extensive geographical coverage, wide array of technology implemented
The good thingsGlenmarie Properties cover property development, asset management, hotel and resort operations, and a golf club. Property development covers landed and strata, residential, commercial as well as industrial. It leverages on the bigger DRB-HICOM group with landbanks throughout Malaysia. Key landbanks include locations in Klang Valley, Port Klang, Tanjung Malim, Malacca and Johore. Coupled with project site offices in Kedah, Pahang, and other states.
The challengesBeing part of the bigger DRB-HICOM group, it follows the processes and procedures of the group which are not all tailored to fast paced hotel and resorts operations or the property development.

    Overall experience
The good thingsThe environment as in the friendly staff and a very good seniors that will guide you whenever you feel lost. And the CFO that knows what she was doing. I respect her in person for her overwhelming knowledge and experience and know her babies very well no one could manipulate her. The work experience where you learn from the very basic things and fully understand the flow of the work.
The challengesThe poor management team where I feel they lack of being a leader. Where they won't voice out what they think inside because the top management can't seem to accept what their subordinates thinks and feels. And even if the subordinates voice out their thoughts, those ideas won't be analise or whatsoever.

    Surrounding of the workplace
The good thingsThe training that been provided to subsidiary staff is good.
The challengesTo help this company grow, the decision maker is still the CEO GROUP of DRB HICOM. Eventhough the company had been established Integrated management system since 2009., but the implementation is very bad.
