Fun work culture, but not so good corporate structure with a lot of unmet promises. The good thingsManagers collaborated with their team members to solve problems and brainstorm ideas. KPIs were reasonable, clear, and usually met. Managers were understanding of particular performances, and urged more experienced colleagues to get better at their work, with room for error available for optimal learning experiences.
The challengesThere was no real organisational structure; as an Editorial team member, there was no room for me to climb up the ranks, stagnating without promotion or significant pay raise. HR did not communicate new benefit structures properly, resulting in a lot of confusion regarding pay and paid leave benefits. Many problems arose from having to collaborate with 2 other countries during work, including different work attitudes and cultures, as well as language barriers.
