    Strong learning culture
The good thingsThe firm develop seniors who are technically strong, commercially aware, and capable of progressing into management roles. If you are looking for responsibility, growth, and visible contribution, this is the right environment. Good performance is always rewarded accordingly.
The challengesYour output, client handling, and team supervision are tracked. Promotion is based on capability and consistency.

A great place to build strong auditing skills but the workload can be intense during peak periods.
The good thingsAs an Audit Associate, working here provided valuable exposure to different industries and business operations. I had the opportunity to develop strong analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills while working with experienced seniors and managers. The role also helped me improve my time management, teamwork, and communication skills, especially during peak audit periods.
The challengesDuring the off-peak period, the workload is manageable and quite enjoyable. However, it can be very demanding during the busy peak season (Jan–Mar), when long hours and tight deadlines are common. Better workload planning and more balanced staffing during peak periods could help reduce stress and improve motivation among team members.

    Accounts Role

Great exposure to different tasks that encourages learning and values you.
The good thingsIt’s great that I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with this accounting and audit firm and have been inspired by its growth over the years. Clear policies and structured onboarding have ensured smooth operations and support for new staff, especially when they first join. I have gained exposure in providing accounting and HR services to internal companies and external clients across various industries, which creates valuable learning opportunities, giving practical, hands-on experience with internal processes and develop professionally through diverse engagements. The firm also provides various staff benefits, regular training, company events, and approachable leadership, all of which contribute to a positive and enjoyable working environment, something not always easy to find in this industry.
The challengesA key challenge is learning quickly while working with clients across different industries, but this has added value to my career by expanding my knowledge and technical skills. Managing clients, especially those with December year-ends, can be demanding due to tight audit and tax deadlines, yet it helps to build multitasking, communication with client, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Adapting to unfamiliar tasks beyond accounting requires developing new skills and finding alternative solutions, giving me the chance to learn from scratch and broaden my experience.

Good growth and exposure. The stress and learning curve is ideal in pushing me to be at my best
The good thingsYou will be able to learn good basic on auditing as opposed to small firms. Audit quality and requirements by standards and law are continuously met resulting in exposure in many aspects of audit. On the other hand, the Firm is not too big so you wont have the same pressure to meet regulatory compliance requirement. Clientelle includes local SMEs in many industries, other entities such as legal firm client accounts' audit, Rep Office audit, Permanent Establishment audits, Branch audits etc. Main client market are German/Swiss MNCs, hence also able to gain exposure to auditing high standard companies within various industries as well as group and multi-location audits. Will also be able to specialise in other GAAP besides MFRS and MPERS. Audit team culture and environment are generally good and friendly. The team is not too big hence not much issue on office politics.
The challengesThe Firm has been growing tremendously for the past 10 years resulting in many different new clients to be handled for the first time. Good learning exposure but very challenging considering not many guidelines internally. The Firm's focus on German MNCs resulting in very tight deadline and Jan - Mar is a very tough peak period. Most of the audit colleagues will face long hours and demanding clients. Anyone who can survive the peak period will be learning and improve a lot. But many also cant cope with the demanding peak period.

A dynamic and empowering consulting firm that challenges you to grow, lead, and deliver excellence.
The good thingsGTC Partners fosters a highly professional and growth-oriented environment where initiative and accountability are genuinely valued. The leadership team is approachable, strategic, and committed to high standards, which creates a culture of excellence. I’ve particularly enjoyed the exposure to diverse projects, meaningful client engagements, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful decisions. The firm encourages continuous learning, independence, and ownership, which accelerates both professional and personal development.
The challengesAs with any high-performing consulting firm, expectations are demanding and timelines can be tight. The pace can be fast, especially during peak project periods. However, these challenges also create strong learning opportunities and build resilience. With continued enhancements in resource planning and structured knowledge-sharing, the firm can scale its excellence even further.

The good thingsAll colleagues are very friendly, all of them are willing to help you despite of how busy they are, this is the only reason I feel like staying. There are a few training here for the staff, which I think there is room career development.
The challengesHighly independent, very heavy work overload and if your work is not done, there is no weekend for you. have 2 peak period instead of one, during peak period you will suffered a very long working hours, sleepless night and no weekend/rest. Anyone who value their rest, this company is not for you.

    Audit intern during peak season
The good thingsIn terms of teaching, seniors will guide you thoroughly during the audit procedure. But you need to be a fast learner as well since they only teach you one time.
The challengesLong working hours even though you're an intern.
