    The challengesDifficult to growth. Depends on you’re working in which department . Some with good boss will helps u to growth otherwise happens if your boss not supportive . Even if you stay for 10 years more u will still not get any opportunity to growth.

    Performed as Solid control Engineer for Halliburton Baroid for 6 years started 2016 to 2020. Experienced with solid control jobs including filtration, onshore and offshore operations.
    The good thingsLoved for employee benefit and working environment especially for medical cards for me and my family. Others, the good system and management to ensure all the employee working in safe environments following the Halliburton rules and service quality.
    The challengesToo many paper work especially to purchase or to get simple part. Need to create the order following the SAP system and get approval from top management is very hard.

    The good thingsEmployees united to gossip about poor management and the overwhelming stress and workload
    The challengesPeople will gossip about you if you are out of your jurisdiction though you are just being friendly and proactive. They like to follow their SOP which though it is a good check and balance, but sometimes it's not efficient. though they encourage continuous improvement, but when you come out with something, they will ask you to produce a proven working theory before even looking at it, no collaboration and synergy is involve. Company promised a new role and a full time employment for 4 months and when the Covid Pandamic kicked in, they just dispose you.

    The good thingsThe working pressure in Halliburton was great & its helping me to develop my management skills, as well as on decision making. This company had develop me not only in Well Testing Technical Matter, but also on how to run a business with the company; assets management, talent management, budgeting, cost accrual, cost tracker, revenue forecast, project corrdination etc.
    The challengesManagement part (business management), well testing technical matter, crew management, new talent development etc, project coordination, equipment & crew coordination, liaising with the government authority on Work permit application etc

    The good thingsThe company does take care of all their employees and the benefits of the job is the company will train the employees to communicate with the customers so that the employees can be more confident in their services. The employees also have their experience on communicate with big companies such as Halliburton, Schlumberger and Dialog
    The challengesThe facilities at the office and the lab were at low level. The wages sometimes were late about a couple of weeks and the employees need to save their money.

    The good thingsThe company emphasizes on HSE (Health, Safety & Environment). Management proves to care about employees well being & encourage them to step up their game to perform. In the Supply Chain, Business Support Center, we make sure compliance is adhered & KPI are met on a monthly basis, keeping stakeholders with a smile. Liaising with internal country procurement team, requestors, warehouse team & vendors. Support service that brings satisfactory level to all parties.
    The challengesOnce in a while, the shift of priority will affect the monthly processes when headcount reduces, due to leaves, MC & resignations. However this is a target for the management to hire the correct candidates that can cope well in these times. Other than that, the rigid system of career development & increment in the low tide of the Oil & Gas industry would be a little let down at the moment.
