Great career progressionThe good thingsClear career progression and strict measures of KPIs make it very meritocratic working here. Everyone is very similar in terms of wave length - hard working, goal driven, and family oriented. Hays does great initiatives for increasing productivity and employee wellbeing such as office-wide games/initiatives to drive KPIs, awards for each employee's milestone, and also great welfare for the entire staff. Salary is great too - basic is significantly higher than market value, but commission is the what drives the consultants to work harder.
The challengesFor people who aren't goal or team or individually driven, working here is not for them. KPIs are strict but a clear path for promotion/career progression, so those who can't self-motivate will struggle.
