    Awesome
The good thingsThe colleagues that you get to work with as a team and they do not leave you behind even if you are new to the company. The benefits of working here is that, you get to meet people who were in the company for more that 35 years and they share their experience with you when they started working here and how it is now.
The challengesI feel that i got to adopt with the companies behaviors and their culture. When I joined Heineken for the 1st month, it was not easy, but slowly I could adopt with the challenges that I had to face with.

A great company to work for...
The good thingsI personally like the nature of business of this company as it involves enjoyment while working. The experiences that I acquire here definitely is the most valuable thing as you can meet all different kinds of people from the day-working customers to the late night-working customers. The company is very resourceful and the benefits are really good for management staffs.
The challengesI found working with distributors are a bit challenging due to the different mindset that we as principal have and them as distributors and we look into the perspective of customers and distributors as a whole. Paperwork is also challenging as it never ends and there's always something new to surprise me. Sometimes I have to do my superior's paperwork due to the never-ending progress.

    Great perks
The good thingsThe perks are really great. For starters, you get 25 days of annual leave off. Plus there are heaps of personal benefits of which you could claim. The working hour is quiet flexible in a sense, but going home on time is something your superior would be very please off. The best perk? Free flow of all the freshest beer at the in house tavern during happy hours
The challengesThere are a lot of old timers which have been working there for 2-3 decades so they are really reluctant of changes made. Verbally they'll agree in the meeting just to show the management that they 'support' the ideas but when it comes to putting them into practice, they'll never budge. I understand the importance of a workers union, but the union has made things really difficult and slow

    Employee Welfare
The good things1. In-house gym is available for staff to exercise after working hour. 2. Monthly health talk where emphasis on correct working postures, important nutritional facts, healthy eating habits, health issues is being focused on. 3. Plenty of annual leaves: 24 days per year to start with, additional annual leave when public holiday falls on Saturday. 4. In-house pub for staff to distress every Friday.
The challenges1. In-house gym is too small for a company with more than 1,000 employees. 2. Monthly health talk is limited to 30 person, on first come first serve basis. 3. Free flow of beer provided on every Friday might cause health problem to staff who over-consume. 4. Not able to use up annual leave for those staff who are too tight with the workload and no option to convert balance leave to monetary term.
