Good place to grow your career, but not settle at long term.
The good thingsThe company provides every teacher a macbook, so you won't have to use your personal devices. Sufficient resources to deliver the curriculum
The challengesAs secondary teachers, you need to teach your subject across ALL year groups. Therefore, you are forced to prepare different lesson plans and slides for every single class. Teaching hours per week - Average 20-21 (without CCA) Ridiculous break, lunch, dismissal commitments - In a 5-day week at school, expect to have some kind of duty on 4 days. You will barely have enough time for your own meal. CCA is conducted AFTER school hours, by the time it ends, it's around 4:30pm (4:40pm if you have duties). This extends beyond your contract hours.

Good place to work, but need to be hardworking, extra careful, cooperative and work fully as a team player
The good thingsIt has a very good working environment. Most colleagues are friendly to you, the HODs are very kind and understanding.
The challengesThere has been a lack of transparency and communication between teachers. Instead of directly telling you or your HOD about their concerns on your teachings and student interactions, they would straightaway inform the leadership teams. This can be really unfair and toxic to those who are being reported.

A great kick start to my career in the corporate world
The good thingsI received proper and excellent guidelines from the employer. Every employee there provided myself with immediate assistance whenever I needed help. I also learnt a lot from the hands-on tasks assigned by the employer.
The challengesImpose a more stringent attendance policy and penalize those employee who do not show up at work too frequently without providing sensible reasons beforehand. Improve on the system or database by utilizing technology and not merely make use of papers towards a more environmentally friendly approach.

    A warm hearted working environment!
The good thingsA great school culture. Warm, inviting and great campus. Cutting edge teaching practices with a staff of equally expatriate and local composition. Collaboration with staff is key here. Everyone is friendly, supportive and management pushes for students to have joy in learning. Management respects and cares for the staff.
The challengesWork load is challenging sometimes. There are a lot of events throughout the year though that means more opportunities for growth by the students. You have to be very flexible in your teaching approaches and ideas. Innovation happens at this campus everyday.

The good thingsThe team here is great, students are very polite, facilities and resources for teaching and learning is sufficient. Good variety of pd, opportunities for growth and professional development, leadership is good
The challengesVery fast paced, with lots of things happening. Was quite overwhelmed initially. Food at canteen is not bad but a little pricey, some characters that are not so easy to work with
