Not a Long Term Job, Only Short Term for ExperienceThe good thingsThe company allowed me to be innovative and creative in teaching when I was working there. There is no fix method in teaching the students. The classes were conducive and cozy. The air-conditioning was chilly and nice. The colleagues were friendly. For fresh grads and beginners, it is a good starting point to prep you to the reality of work life.
The challengesThe management of the company require further adjustment. When I was working over there, it was very tiring with all the management works when I only signed up to be a teacher. The employer did not seem to notice the problems that the team is facing and kept demanding for solutions and results. The deadlines and workloads were not reasonable at times. The stress I gained from the management workloads had affected my development for my career in teaching. Despite from that the company operates on weekends while weekdays we worked till 9 pm which affected my work/life balance as well. I wish the company may be more people-oriented instead.
