    Lovely workplace with nice colleagues
The good thingsI joined this company since my internship and it's been almost 3 years, how time flies! Looking at the duration I have joined company, it might be the time to think of 'switching to something new', but somehow what's good here has persuaded me to stay. Colleagues here are super super nice and helpful! You will always feel being supported, both physically and morally. We never face the difficulties alone here. Believe or not, along these years that I have joined, I have never get scolded or blamed even though I have been so clumsy when I first joined here. Instead, the seniors pointed out and explained to me on my mistakes patiently. I have no worries to always ask what I'm doubted. To be very honest, the salary here has been lower than the market price when I first joined the company. However, the management is 'observant' enough to adjust the salary to follow market price, not only for me, but for all the staffs. At the same time, the management has also been trying their best to add value to to staff benefit, although our office has just done renovated! Opportunities for career development here are good. (I'm not so sure how is it for other departments but definitely a YES for mine) Training will be provided regularly, but mostly are on-the-job-trainings. Here, as a system engineer, you will have plenty of opportunities to learn the bank operations, as we have quite a number of ex-bankers here. It adds value to a system engineer as we could never develop a user-friendly system without knowing what user needs. It's really an eye-opening experience for me!
The challengesWe seldom have a company trip nor company event. But we do have activities within our own department. Since this is a CMMI level 5 company, we have more documentation work than the other companies. But rest assured after getting adapted, you will know how to do the documents fast... haha!

a place for career growth and those who hunger for challenges.
The good things- welcome to ask for help from seniors (but does not mean you can slack off) - welcome to share your ideas (to improve the work) - flexible working hours (may discuss further with HOD) - hybrid working (may discuss with HOD) - great/strategic management across company - training provided overall, a good place to start if you are planning on working in finance/banking industry or in system development.
The challengesthere are times when you will get burnout and stress over your work especially if you are not familiar with banking/finance industry. training provided may be a bit too fast for some people to catch up but all the materials used are accessible.

    Very high expectations
The good thingsOpportunity to become a programmer that covers the work of others not specified in the job scope.
The challengesJuniors are expected to know every business rule built from 10 years ago in specific including doing the work of a System Analyst whenever they missed out on things and even expect to provide the reasoning behind the requirements provided by the stakeholders themselves. Which doesn't make sense. Seemingly we're expected to read minds as well. You will not get paid for working long hours. It is a norm

    Good luck for others
The good thingsLots of work to rapidly increase your experience.
The challenges- OT without pay - Insane expectations - At least 16 hours/day of work only to be ridiculed as slow due to insane expectations. - Micro-managed - Zero work-life balance - Expected to complete the task assigned on the day you're sick by the next day. - Project scope is too big despite the lack of resources (seniors). Too many interns, juniors. - Interns are expected to perform as good or having similar job scope as junior developers. - Extremely high turnover rate. - Low-quality system due to having too many interns/juniors.

Good place to start in you are eager to explore
The good thingsThe organization itself is positive and the ceo vision to have zero debt is inspiring. However don't expect much-especially on staff development benefit. If you are independent and quick witted, this place is for you.
The challengesLike other med-small software house company would have.

Good for freshies to get exp
The good thingsDepending on which team you are assigned on, you may have a relaxing experience or a nightmarish pit. Relax team, less recognition, lower change for raise. Nightmare team, heavy work, stress-o and depress-o, pay so-so. Higher ups won't care much about you, even if you told them problems, just say to improve yourself and that you are the cause.
The challengesNeed more pay, get recognized by the higher ups. or you can work till dawn, but then only if the higher ups acknowledged you. If not then you're just stressing yourself up.

1 to 2 years in the role, current employee
    Ignorantly Unappreciative
The good thingsTraining for newcomers, training from time to time, great colleagues even from other teams very supportive, above average benefits(car allowance, dental), bonus and increment(based on performance), nice and understanding project managers. For programmers you do have to stay back from time to time which is normal, not as bad as some companies. Some big bosses do get angry, but they at least try to understand the issue and give a proper solution and also training.
The challengesJust happened to have to work under people that are bad at managing projects. Hard work gone unnoticed. No support. Unprofessionally blaming and backbiting instead of learning and solving issues. Changing teams takes years. Will be a problem if you are stuck with teammates that is not a team player.
