Grateful for the opportunity but the salary is way too lowThe good thingsI was given a valuable opportunity to learn my trade as a young engineer and this is a great place for those who are still looking for a job as a graduate. I will be forever grateful with the opportunity given. As a local company, there were a lot of improvements that can be made and you will have an opportunity to try give your suggestion in terms of that.
The challengesThere was a bad politics going on as this is a family-based run company. There is no fair validation in terms of your performance (way too different with big company) as your bonus, promotion or increment were solely based on the boss decision only. There is no specific tools / methods were used to validate this fairly unlike most of the big companies. On top of that, your starting salary is very low (way too low). The rate was like for diploma graduate.
