Goos for fresh grads. For experienced people, don't bother.
The good thingsGood for fresh grads to have a compehensive experience and steep learning curve
The challengesI never given a company less than a 4-stars rating, but this one is serious. While the people are helpful, I'd advise anyone approached by their talent hunter to be highly cautious. The turnover rate is incredibly high, and you won't see any job opening on Jobstreet or any site because they know it is a red flag having to re-advertise jobs. I decided to write an honest review so people do not make the same mistakes. Ask below questions to the recruiter, GM, or the hiring manager (if any of them answered exactly like this, run). 1. Why you don't see job ad for this position? (They'd say they prefer ask customers for best salespersons) 2. Is this expansion or replacement (invariably answered by 'both') 3. What is the limit for outstation accommodation? (They will say 'no limit') 4. What is the commission structure (they will say '5%GP') I'm sure there are many more. Please reached out to recent ex-employees for advise and review. Every important element that made me consider taking the role dissipitated into thin air. It seems none what I understood about benefits, commission, and job growth appeared to be truthful. Ask hard questions and record or recap in an email and get them to acknowledge what you have discussed. Be smarter. If you're desparate for jobs, you might consider; otherwise, go elsewhere.

    Politic working environment
The good thingsFlexibility given to the sales person, not necessarily to check in office in every morning if you got morning appointment with your customer, much appreciated. This is the only good thing about this company.
The challengesPeople here are not working hard to improve their sales but working really hard in talking bad behind people. Please join the company if you like to work in a very political environment and good luck to you.

    Great place to work!
The good thingsGreat working environment with friendly & helpful colleagues. The top management adopts an open approach by listening to employees and constantly finding ways to improve the welfare of the employees.
The challengesLocation is a bit too far as it is located in a light industrial area.

    Business Unit Manager
The good thingsHaving a direct reporting to Business Development Director, who is based in Singapore, presents freedom on how to run things. In the relatively new division Medical, the opportunity to learn new things and all round exposure to handling own business unit is a great advantage for new managers. Being a distributor, the possibility of exploring different segments of medical devices is there.
The challengesThere are a lot of red tapes in processing, lack of a proper software to run a company established for close to 38 years. Several improvements are being made, but will definitely take time to change and implement. Not a suitable environment for those who are used to MNC culture and SOP. The monthly meetings does not have a useful agenda in which majority of managers would find it a time waster.
