    Flexible but very low pay
The good thingsThe flexibility of working environment.
The challengesInti pays very low salary for a private University status. Their emphasize heavily on Publication (which is good) but the quality of publication is questionable. Some academicians can easily publish more than 50 journal papers a year.

A good place to start your academic career
The good thingsAs the university is moving from a young university to a mature university, more opportunity on research, training, and T & L development are available for the staff. It is a small university with 230 plus academicians and 6000 plus students, so the environment is not complicated, very less politics. Recently, two homegrown professors achieved 100 plus publications within 10 years with INTI IU. You can shine brightly, if you wish to shine.
The challengesInvolve actively in research and T & L activities. Be open minded, and communicate with seniors with positive attitude. Deans and directors are very helpful, especially for the active staff.

About 5 years experiences working in INTI IU
The good thingsNice environment to work and great teamwork among colleagues. It's good to for young and inexperienced lecturer to develop teaching career here
The challengesThe annual salary increment and bonus is quite low compared with other institutes. The employee benefits is also so so. The teaching workload here is quite heavy sometimes with other ad hoc jobs

The good thingsSalary always on time, employee benefit s such as medical and leave replacement. have a proper system for employee to trace all the leave and also the payslips. HR very helpful and other departments are friendly.
The challengesif you are aggressive person and like to learn something new, it is good place for you to go. but you are person who lack of patience and aggressively want to learn something new, i don't think this is best organization for you to join. Whatever being promised, it doesn't mean you will get it.

I would work here again in a heartbeat
The good thingsIt is important to first of all understand that lecturers I know here are extremely dedicated to the profession. we work in a pleasant environment. Yes, there is stress, but which job doesn't have demands to fulfill? You works with people who treat you like family. The salary is not great. There is a lack of compensation. However, if salary is not your main concern, I would definitely think about continuing working here.
The challengesThe salary package is sometimes not equivalent to the job done. And i guess it is important to give and receive praise for a job well done.

Great opportunity to develop lots of working experience!
The good thingsThe environment provided to employees for work is excellent with lots of flexibility for adaptation. The benefits of working here is one of the pros I'd recommend to anyone who wishes to apply. Best of all, there are a lot of projects that can be given, providing you with lots of opportunities to develop skills and add flair to your overall resume.
The challengesThere are some 'glitches' to managerial system wherein they could improve on employee's aspect of work. Employer often provide challenging task to employee with very little room to breath, encouraging us to push further. However, employees are mostly left unheard, and unspoken.

    Will never recommend to friends
The good thingsThe distance to home.
The challengesNew management taking over should appreciate existing staff who had built the university from a college. These staff must be doing something right but they were more like a threat to the newly appointed management team.

A good company too work with.
The good thingsThe working flexibility and great benefits for their employees. I love they are really giving away bonuses for their employees even though not achieving the target.
The challengesThe only difficulties I found was multi-tasking. You have to run up and down to help your colleague and your boss as well.
