Give It a Try and Make the Most of It!
The good thingsOne of the best things about my internship company is the free breakfast provided every morning, perfect for starting the day before things get hectic. Plus, there's a free vending machine, so you can grab a quick break whenever you need a boost. The company is near LRT Asia Jaya and is walkable!
The challengesThe workload can be inconsistent, there are times when things are quite relaxed and other times when it gets really busy. However, this is a normal occurrence in an advertising company.

Great place to work, learn, change, and grow
The good things- Cooperative and friendly culture - High Salary - Delivery oriented mindset - Balanced worklife - Work from home for 2 days a week - Projects on latest technologies stack - Provides an opportunity to switch into a different career path - Health insurance, phone, and parking allowance - Free snacks and fruits in the pantry
The challengesGetting a grasp of the data from various agencies that IPG works with is a bit challenging to understand. However, once we get that life is easy with continuous improvization.

Great place to learn and grow
The good thingsPlenty of opportunities to learn and grow, with internal team sharing done every 2 weeks, and mandatory trainings done quarterly. You will be able to learn vast knowledge about advertising, media and social all under one roof.
The challengesChallenges will always be an issue anywhere, demanding clients, rushed deadlines, but mostly team will be supported by management

    Good and comfortable environment
The good thingsCompany is able to provide trainings (eg: Google and Facebook workshops), work flexibility (eg: work from home 2 days every month), and has a very good environment. It also has many events to participate and has company trip oversea once a year (depends on company's performance)
The challengesSome teams may be handling multiple accounts, low manpower

A good place to learn, grow & flourish
The good things- basic: handle social media of your clients, learn their business, planning content. it's a good environment where you'll be able to get good guidance & in turn, you'll be expected to guide others - you'll get to do more: strategy planning based on consumer behaviour, collaborate with other teams, etc. so it's not streamlined to just one job scope. - ideas are welcomed: especially if it's award winning. - you'll get support: sharing sessions by peers, case studies & platform updates are always welcomed, and shared within teams - personal employee benefits are good too. - management is ready to listen and help you to navigate your career & what kind of support you need. - very little office politics which is healthy
The challenges- some teams have longer working hours due to the brands' nature of the work, but the company is always looking out to justify it in order to gain something from it (some of the reasons) such as: award-winning campaigns, ad hoc tasks. so do be prepared as to which brands you'll likely handle - be ready to get challenged to work harder to grow. it's all up to u. - financial earnings growth: sometimes the pay is a abit lower than expectations esp if you grow internally. it will get higher with about 2 levels worth of promotion.

    Great opportunity for growth
The good thingsThe superiors do a fantastic job at empowering you to do things beyond your comfort zone. The work culture is great; with a close-knit team who are never afraid to lend a helping hand. Management is also very understanding, providing plenty of trust and understanding towards the tasks you are responsible for.
The challengesClients can be demanding, as with other clients in every industry. Work never seems to end, but this is compensated for with bosses who also value your sanity.

    Awesome!
The good thingsIf you are looking for an advertising company which is full with amazing people and strong culture, IPG Mediabrands would be the one for you. People here are generally friendly and get along very well. No dramas, no office politics!
The challengesIf you are unlucky enough, you'll get bad teammates who don't communicate much.

Great place for a first job
The good thingsThere were a lot of opportunities to learn new skills along with talents to discover. My job required me to wear a lot of hats so that really helped in terms of career development. I would definitely recommend this company as a first for all my fresh graduate friends out there who are trying to discover themselves.
The challengesDue to the overwhelming opportunity of career growth. It also comes at the cost of long work hours. If you are not ready to slog or work OT, this probably isn't the job for you. However, like all things in life lack of work life balance and stress are parts and parcels of a fast working paced industry.

    Great global company
The good thingsAll sorts of mediums can be explored and worked with all under one roof. From media, social media, outdoor and digital. Integrated campaigns flow better here as easy access helps to clear up any hiccups in traditional marketing approaches. The company provides a lot of training and development for everyone and really takes care of F&B and happiness. They also have a Happiness Committee to ensure everyone is happy. Plus, access to the global partners' case studies and tools really helps to create great campaigns and ideas for clients.
The challengesThough everyone is under one roof, there are departments and also individuals that like to lay blame for the mistake of others (as any other company). Systems and processes are still quite traditional, though there are changes that are making things more digitised. A process flow is missing and there isn't anyone helping in correcting that. So most of the time, processes are done on the go and made up along the way.

Strategic planning for clients's marketing/advertising campaigns
The good thingsThe working colleagues are fantastic, supportive and helpful. Company benefits are not bad e.g. entitle for birthday leaves, dental benefits, etc
The challengesManagement has somehow failed to see the potential in growth of an individual, most workers who can work/have potential to contribute well in the company are either being silently demotivated or not being given a proper guidance.

The good thingsThe people and culture. Also some of the innovative work we get to do with clients. They have a \"happiness committee\" that organises social events to help the different teams mingle in a social setting.
The challengesLack of structure and planning. Clients with demanding timelines. Too much last minute work. Change is the only constant here.
