Handled 4–6 projects at once with constant weekend work, endless calls, and presentations. Poor management, with expats shouting and micromanaging. Zero work-life balance and a stressful, unsupportive environment. Would not recommend
The good thingsLearning and grow is okay.
The challengesPay is peanut, min 3% increment max 4-6%. Bonus is nonexistent, lucky you get maximum 1K. This is one of the company who keep tracked your performance in timesheet and you have to key in hours weekly timesheet.

    Glad I left the company
The good thingsOnly thing I can say is that Ipsos has an international name for market research and that’s it.
The challengesUnfortunately that name did not carry so well in Malaysia with its services. Lack of direction and ultra low compensation.

Good company with an extremely positive work culture and environment
The good thingsGood mix of young and experienced workers - making up a positive working culture and environment. The perks and benefits are also satisfactory. The company also allows for a flexible working arrangements.
The challengesAs the workload is heavily reliant on the internet. Prospects are expected to have good fundamentals in office suites. For WFH arrangements - you will also be extremely reliant on good line connections.

    Positive Working environment
The good thingsThe management and HR have improved lot since before COVID, with new office layout and lot of other benefits such as transport&teleco allowance , health benefits, flexible working hours 3WFH 2WFO and etc. For the Project Management department, be prepare to handle lot of projects. Sometimes it can be overwhelming but its rewarding in the end. The colleague is very supportive in helping you to manage the projects
The challengesThe challenges is working with client, we have to met their expectations and timeline.

Good Working Environment, No Work Life Balance
The good thingsThe working environment is good because you can ask anyone questions about work-related issues, providing follow standard operating procedures; even the managing director is open-minded.
The challengesBe prepared with tons of workload, and even at weekends, sometimes you have no time to rest due to the tight timelines. But anyhow, the satisfaction of getting the project done is indescribable. So it is well worth it for fresh grads to start their career with the company and explore or challenge themselves in a challenging industry.

Good supportive team mates, but little to no career progression
The good thingsThe company here practice flexible working hours, which is great in giving freedom for employees to decide their work done. Also, the colleagues here are nice and supportive in terms of giving guidance and patience in leading the new-joiners.
The challengesBe prepared there will be long working hours with meeting tight deadlines. Expertise in time management with high adaptivity skills and having an agile working attitude are required here. And, there's no authorization for contract staffs to access/work with certain work area/departments, which is affecting the work efficiency and productivity as a team. Perhaps, communication with the management can be improved and aligned with their objectives when hiring contract staffs. There is also no clear KPI in monitoring contractual staff's performance and no training is provided to upskill themselves to get a promotion which gives little to no progression for their career's growth.

    high-pressure, monotonous work
The good thingsHigh salary, good location
The challengesHeavy workload, demanding in terms of time spent on work. Some days required staying back past 8pm, and working from home on projects until midnight. Expected to work like a machine doing monotonous work from start of day til after working hours. Not much room for development or skill improvement as project managers.

Great place to show your potential
The good thingsPeople here are very supportive. The bosses, they are kind and willing to listen to work challenge. It isn't fixed time to work. Just be professional and have good work ethic. You come early, nobody would nag you time out early. Just make sure your task is done and it doesn't affect other people's progress. People here are willing to teach you too with condition, you must have the willing to learn and have curiosity to try do things on your own. I would miss this place.
The challengesI guess the tight timeline and less work-life balance. Depends on how many projects and the timeline in your hand too. Sometimes work has to be brought home. Not always though. But someone who always worry of progress for every project, things can be a bit chaotic. But hey, youv'e always get help.
