    Mechanical Engineer
    Apr 2026
Johor Bahru Johor1 to 2 years in the role, current employee
A supportive, fair, and growth‑driven workplace with excellent compensation and culture.
The good thingsFlexible working hours with hybrid WFH (2 days/week). Supportive team lead who considers individual capabilities and actively supports career growth and goal setting. Performance and KPI are purely merit-based with no favoritism or bias. Positive, non-toxic work environment with strong teamwork and mutual support. Empathetic yet professional management. Competitive salary, high increments, fixed allowance, biannual bonuses, and attractive benefits.
The challengesAt the beginning, setting goals felt difficult due to lack of direction and career plan. Over time, the company environment encouraged growth. Although setting yearly goals can be challenging, it indirectly pushes continuous self‑improvement and eventually shapes you into an engineer with real value, not just a title on paper. Couldn't see what to improve for now.

The challenges1.employee is in the dark of company direction. 2.personal development seems more important than real work.
