Not a bad dealThe good thingsWide-berth experience. Lot of leeway given by expatriate General Manager I reported to, to prove myself in many areas. Both local and expatriate management personnel were very understanding for most of my caree-life of about nine years here. I could say I experienced the best of the best in my career at Johnson Matthey Sdn Bhd
The challengesInability of the new management (including local and new expatriate GM) to address real-time problems which were totally out of line, in good time - even after they were advised/warned. Inability to address a growing bad situation and nip it in the bud even when it was called to attention. This caused the company plenty in terms of their losing some of their best staff who became disheartened
