Great work environment , good company to learn to get experience.
The good thingsThe benefit is fair but need to be improved with the dynamic of the country economy
The challengesTransparency policy yet to be improved further and will be good if internal employee with huge experience be given a chance first to fill other available roles rather than direct initiating for redundancy.

Great place to start your career
The good thingsEmployee-focussed. Benefits well-given to permanent staff. Plenty of high value monthly allowances. Nice office. Very nice office view with Sunway Lagoon before your eyes. Strategically located next to Sunway Pyramid Mall. Public transport (BRT in Sunway City) is easily accessed. Gym access and workout studio for zumba or yoga activities for employee’s health and well-being. The manager and lead are well-trained to listen to their subordinates for any challenges that arise. If you have a thought to leave the company, boss will slow talk 1-1 with you to ask if you might want to speak about the downside of the company and wishes to improve. They will hold on to you and even want to revise your salary to supplement your demands.
The challengesHigh expectation from senior management to reach target sales. Manager is quite micro-manage that you will have to update your location (applicable to salesperson) and sometimes even asks why are you in office when you should be in the field.

    Overall is too stressful
The good thingsFood is cheap. Staff can purchase J&J products at a very low price. OK working environment.
The challengesVery very very hard to apply for leaves. Got so many AL+Replacement Leave but could not enjoy it because too busy. Has to work even on Public Holidays. Poor management. Obvious different treatment for contract/permanent staffs. Unclear career development/path. Most likely to only be contract basis staff (hard to be offered as permanent staff). Heavy workload & stressful. Any very tiny error in task will be taken seriously. Superior expect zero error all the time.

Great Place To Work , Compliance & Ethical Management
The good thingsI am working at J&J and this year is my 10th years. J&J is a Credo based company , the company have ERG for employee to engaged and provide health based needs for employee @ you can claim your gym fees, medical benefit is extended to family members too. There are EAP (Employee assistance program) and employee well being. The management is open for discussion with employee, I can just chat with the management through skype messaging or even in their office , very ethical and compliance management. Remuneration comprise with your task of work with multi-tasking of course but I enjoyed working as we feel the scents of belong in the company. Its a good company compared to my previous 2 to 3 companies that I worked before. I am blessed with a having a talented yet a caring manager to work with all this while working in J&J .
The challengesIf I were to retire , I am sure this will be a challenge for me , as I will miss the culture, the people.

    Good place to get experience
The good thingsNice environment, people are very helpful and willing to teach for the most part. Exposed to multiples parts of the plant, including production, lab, office etc. Management are nice and willing to show the ropes if you are willing to take on the challenge.
The challengesThis is a 24H manufacturing company so it is extremely fast-paced. Had to lift loads of boxes filled with heavy bottles of soap/documents a couple of times of the week (even though I work in the office) so it's terrible for my back... Loads of people work late over working hours, including the managers themselves. Contract workers seems to have very hard time to move up. Management should try to address the what seems to be an understaffed office.

The good thingsGood employee benefits especially medical benefits. Employees are given opportunity for self development.
The challengesCompany should give a clearer future business direction and share with the employees. Job security is a concern with previous retrenchment.

    Amazing Culture and Environment
The good thingsThere are so many activities that includes all sectors in the company. Everyone is kind to help each other, and getting to know one another is very easy. The benefits here in the company exceeded my expectation, as well as accessibility is very good. Personal and professional growth is encouraged here.
The challengesIt is hard for the company to provide a permanent job, as many workers are contract based, hence career stability is not there for me. Multiple processes and internal systems needs to be learned in a short period of time. Minor mistakes are not taken lightly, even though you just started working.

The good thingsReputable company, great products and system, have CREDO to take care employees and customer. Emphasized diversity and inclusion. All employees from different background, young and energetic. Like a big family.
The challengesYou have to be really independent and have certain level of knowledge and experience on the subject you are taking care of. You can always ask but end of the day you made the decision. You have to be good in multitasking and able to critical thinking and challenge yourself.
