Good place to explore new working environment
The good thingsThe salary is decent and benefits including medical are amazing. Having the chance to be exposed to a lot of high level government officers and stakeholders via engagements and meetings. Can learn a lot from smart colleagues and bosses.
The challengesDue to the establishment's reliance on the government decision and project orientation, there is no clear direction from management. Micromanaging management causes a lot of work to be delayed, which affects our own KPIs. Not much opportunity in terms of career progression because the company prefers to hire new employees than to promote the internal personnel.

Deal and connect with media, organizations and local community
The good thingsDeal with others corporate and big company like PETRONAS, Dialog, investors and local community. Enjoy while working even it is pressure because the positive vibes among team members. I can communicate well without feel awkward and fear because my boss and team members always believe my strength to do the jobs.
The challengesIt is quite hard if you cannot deal your emotional when working under pressure. Besides, plan B is important to back up the real plan. Communications between employers and employees also effect the work environment.

Best of both worlds, government (Federal and State) and private.
The good thingsMaterializer of government initiative in Malaysia’s oil and gas landscape. You can see people worked whole-heartedly and being professional when dealing with another stakeholder.
The challengesLimited budget from government, hence limitations on career growth and salary raised. Petty underpaid for fresh graduates.
