    Bad management, manual process, poor staff welfare
    The good thingsGet to experience audit from start to finish for clients from various industries.
    The challengesAudit clients only cater to SMEs companies so their accounts can be very messy. In addition, the firm still relies heavily on manual processes, which can lead to inefficiencies and longer turnaround times. They also offer very minimum benefits to the staffs; No EPF deduction during probation, annual leave only entitled after 1 year of service; force to take 1 week off during CNY even you're not celebrating; no bonuses and OT even work beyond working hours during peak period. You will be assigned about 20 companies to complete during peak period and micro-manage happens as they only have few staffs to handle.

    Ensure compliance with labour laws, and improve workload distribution to prevent burnout and high staff turnover.
    The good thingsExposure to a high volume of audit cases within a short period, which can improve technical speed and problem-solving under pressure. Opportunities to handle different industries and client sizes.
    The challengesExtremely heavy workload — expected to complete around 15 audit engagements in peak period No overtime pay despite consistently working beyond standard office hours. EPF contributions were delayed; first 3 months of employment had no contributions. No annual leave entitlement during the first year of service. Bonus eligibility only after one year, regardless of performance or workload. Limited staff welfare and poor work-life balance culture.
