Knowledgeable seniors, friendly and uplifting co-workers leading to high morale and high knowledge absorption
The good things* Follow agile practices * recognize gaps in management and every year make improvements * knowledgeable leaders/seniors * friendly co-workers * give a lot of room to grow in knowledge * flexi-working hours * work from home * casual wear (formal in client meetings)
The challenges* bonuses may not be as high as before, but still higher than many companies * if you don't propel yourself into the spotlight, you're going to have a very hard time * culture of over time, but compensation on weekend is okay * if you get pulled into high pace departments, you may struggle if you can't keep up if your skills are below average, but it is possible to have a work life balance

Dettached management and poor work life balance
The good thingsGreat Exposure. You are thrown to the thick of things not by choice but because there are no other options. For those who are looking for experience and could handle the stress. This is a good stepping stone. If you are good you get elevated fast
The challenges1. Unrealistic expectations 2. Zero work life balance 3. Lack of leaders and supports 4. Poor pay structure.

Tough but fair, not for faint hearted
The good thingsThey will provide plenty of opportunity to learn and pick up skills. Engineers can expect to be placed close to the customer in order to deliver the goods. They like to foster a somewhat informal manner in the home office.
The challengesWorking here as a programmer, expect to rarely ever come out before 7, especially during project peak times. Feels like constant firefighting.

Caring management with amazing forward thinking and visionary Board of Directors
The good thingsEmployees are given opportunities to learn new things. Fun working environment with competitive empliyees benefits. Hey, the office has plenty of various comfortable casual zones where employees can at anytime choose as their work station for the day, of course first come first get.
The challengesThe Company is expanding very rapidly hence work load can be heavy but the management is also actively recruiting new talents. New recruits look promising and existing staff were provided with useful trainings. The journey map of employees development is continuously improving. Impressive management team.

    Feels like home.
The good thingsCrazy eccentric hardworking bunch! No place for bullshit in this company. If you're good at your job you can get promoted twice in a year. Go on overseas trip. Get company cars. Get to work with artifical intelligence. Life is a rollercoaster.
The challengesIf you're a dumbass and hope to ride on someone else's coat tails then this is not a place for you. Unskilled personnels are identified promptly. Wearing formal clothes everyday is annoying I will admit, but after you have worked here for a year, you can break some rules can show up in hoodies.

The good thingsThe bosses are encouraging and always try to promote continuous growth within the company. The employees welfare are taken care of as well and this is a great place if you wish to either kickstart your career journey or if you're planning to seek for new challenges in your job. You'll definitely learn a lot here and the learning curve may be quite steep but fret not as there is always room for seeking advice from the helpful seniors. Everyone is friendly and this is what contributes to the happy environment.
The challengesThere is a lot of multitasking needed so do ensure that you're ready and up for this challenge. If you strive for excellence and intend to learn as much as you can, you will need to be able to juggle your daily tasks well.

    Life in Juris
The good thingsEmployee is very friendly and helpful. The workplace is a very open place, you can choose to sit anywhere. There's some snacks in the pantry and lots of tea and coffee. The environment is not that strict, you can go down the building and take a smoking breaks. The bosses are very active, trying to motivate the employees.
The challengesTeam management could be better, bad management made worst work/life balance. The company location is very bad, traffic jam is expected. They expect you to work hard and OT everyday. All the appraisal is based on your work and based on the reviews from your colleagues (your teammates), so you have to pleased everyone. The working hour is not free shift.

The good thingsPlenty of programming and database exposure. End to end project implementation for banking solutions and telco, including batch jobs, interface, performance tuning
The challengesLack of project management expertise and proper documentation. Over customized solution increase overhead in support
