    The good thingsAlthough it is Japanese company, however, the Japanese culture is not very strong and most of the staffs are friendly and open minded. Flexible working time and workload is reasonable.
    The challengesAs Kaneka is a manufacturing company, it involved many departments in many cases. Need to learn the method to deal properly with each department.

They provide adequate training and long term development for every employee. Furthermore, not only focus on work, the management also emphasized on employee general affairs.

    Working at Kaneka (M) Sdn. Bhd.
    The good thingsAmong the good things happened here is that we can request any training that we want and the management will let us take the course if it is reasonable. Benefits provided by this company is by far are the best. Medical, spectacles, dental, even housing and motorcycle loan are provided to the employees.
    The challengesAmong the challenges of working here are as the executive level, you won't be entitled to any over time allowances. Even if you are required to work late until 11pm, you won't get any money. Job scopes are not clearly stated. As long as the job was requested by your superior even though it is stated in other person job scope, you need to do it.

    A company with not bad environment.
    The good thingsEmployee benefits are taken care well. HR is always there to assist any HR issues whenever it is faced. Office politics are not encouraged and merely exist. Lots of activities prepared by HR for staffs to participate.
    The challengesMay face the challenge of change, most staffs are veteran employees and they are not that good in facing and adapting change into their working styles, yet new ideas are always welcome by them. Office operating system is rather weak as supporting consultants are outsourced.

    The good thingsKaneka give great opportunities for expand my knowledge and experience such self-handle Plant trial after had some experience by following support member form Japan and as R&D chemist, i successful develop new product better than previous product (develop by Japanese) and this the happiest experience working with Kaneka. this company know how to entertain and remain their staff by hold family day once a year, annual dinner and sport event for every month.
    The challengesWe need to working extra time for great result. it'll be good if there are allowance for those technical work an extra time and this will give moral support to working an extra time for technical members although we are enjoy doing our works. as my supervisor are Japanese they should learn on our culture which we put first priority in our life is family first and then working is second top priority.
