    Great place for internship
The good thingsI was able to learn a lot during my 3 months internship in this company. The company provide me with an overview of what I learn in university. I was able to fully understand the system during my internship period.
The challengesThe challenges I faced during my internship period was bearable and I think it was a great experience to equip myself with preparation for the real working world. The power plant provides me with practical knowledge that I was not able to do in the classroom.

    awesome experience
The good thingsgood working environment, with friendly staffs and engineer that willingly to teach and share their knowledge when you asked for it. Other than that, you can build many networking there since there are a lot of vendors or contractors there... out of that, you can learn more about what you learn in thermodynamics (Rankine cycle etc)
The challengesif you are dealing with boiler section and ESP, you have to face a dusty and hot environment. if you are in turbine section, you have to wear your earplug in order to prevent your ear become deaf. hahaha sometimes you have to be ready to enter a cramped space like compressor in GT or muddy and stink space like culvert

    They are pros and cons
The good thingsGood technical experiences can be learn since a lot of machines problem that use obsolete technology. Types of damage mechanism can be seen. Very challenging plant to work for. Good for your technical knowledge and self development but not the money. Many people come to learn, and go for a better offer.
The challengesThe challenges is to make the old equipment back to its optimum performance with no history, data, drawing, records, nothing. The management is very poor in handling staff matters, don't have their own policies instead following other company (some cases). Easily to get demotivated by the how they manage your salary, your leaves, your promotion etc.
