    Supportive Team and Boss, but Growth Opportunities Lacking
    The good thingsI had a great experience working as a QC Chemist at Karex Pontian. The boss was very knowledgeable, and I was lucky to have supportive teammates and a positive working environment. The team spirit and office culture were excellent.
    The challengesThe main challenge was the limited opportunities for career advancement.

    Great place to start a career
    The good thingsSalary here is quite high compare to other places that I've heard of. Benefits is also quite nice. The workers here are at average age of 30s so there is a lot of young people working here.
    The challengesWorkload is heavy but if you manage your time well, it wont be that much of a burden.

    Good company to do intern. Learnt a lot of new knowledge about the production process.
    The good thingsEasy to work with the management and HR. Open policy company. Can learn a lot from the engineering department about the machining and overall process of production. As for internship student, we are flexible to ask and go everywhere we want, to know more about the product and process, not only restricted to our course of learning only.
    The challengesFew technicians available. Technicians changing often. Sometimes need to deal with machine shut down or problem. Machine problems occur quite often and lead to a lot of reject product. This is probably happen because technicians are overload with other technical problem and lack of manpower of technicians.

    The good thingsNice colleague and good working environment. They're good at communication if you guys are new there. My superior always give me full support at everything I do or any suggestion that I give to provide more good production process and produce more quality product.
    The challengesSometimes, safety still a major concern. Similar to other industry, there is risk working in the manufacturing environment. Accident can't be predicted and we have to take care of own health and safety

    The environment and workers are nice.
    The good thingsMy officemate was so nice to me and others. They're good at communication if you guys are new there. If you get a good officemate, then every bad thing will turn better if you have teamwork. I love Karex even though I'm not working there anymore.
    The challengesFor me, they need to be fair to all staff in production or not about their public holiday and working days. Because they also have a family to spend with. Else, nothing so bad. The salary i think you should follow Buruh rules. Thats all.

    A good place for youngster to explore and learn
    The good thingsPeople here are good, easy to get along. Have multiple opportunities to learn new stuff and chances to explore more which in return able to broaden our experience. Sometimes need to work other than our job scopes which for me is a best way to learn something and add value to ourselves. Get chances to travel oversea and see the trend, an exposure which good for us as well as company.
    The challengesSometimes problems aren't not solved directly and keep beating around the bush. Employee benefit is good but can be better.

    Great Working Experience
    The good thingsMost of the employees and managers are nice and kind. Everyone just do their own work tactfully and open for any suggestions. Most importantly, the work culture is to share knowledge, teach you on numerous troubleshooting technique and allow you to gain useful work experiences.
