A good working experience in government sector. The good thingsI am working as Customs Officer (Contract Services) and my job scope is doing the things that related with my courses which more focusing on auditing which is give me more experiences. My department is Compliance Management Division, audit on GST that would open my eyes in so many things which i have to understand and follow all the facts that related with Customs Act and apply it while working as auditor.
Besides that, i have to advise the registrant based on my finding on what they are doing especially if they make a wrong declaration on GST-03 Form.
Being as an auditor I have to be alert with the currents issues that have always been changed from time to time. For example like the Acts and any Section that always be amended from time to time. This is so important as a Customs Officer while giving a services to client we should have a good knowledge in order to delivered our job.
The challengesI believe as an auditor, the most challenges is having a difficulties in facing so many kind of attitudes of clients (registrants). Most of them dont know what is actually the overview of Goods Service Tax (GST) meaning, they just simply registered for GST without any knowledge of GST.
Therefore, I have to make it clear by explaining from head to toe and what is the affected as registrant if they are not following the rules and laws as stated in Acts.
The second challenges is time management, I have to achieve the KPI that has been setup to all the staff meanwhile I have so many files in hand to be handling.
So, as a top superior they need to have Round Table Discussion (RTD) with their staff to know what kind of problems they are having and how to solve the problems and this will give some ideas if the same problems will happen in future.
